The have added another intriguing name to their training camp roster, signing to an Exhibit 10 contract.

Philadelphia officially announced the signing on Tuesday, with Jones joining Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson Jr. and Saint Thomas among the players brought in on Exhibit 10 deals.

The 24-year-old arrives with an unusual distinction for a player still trying to establish a regular NBA role: he already owns two championship rings.

From First-Round Pick to NBA Champion

Jones was selected with the 26th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft after four seasons at Weber State.

Washington originally made the selection before his draft rights were traded to the .

Jones appeared in 54 regular-season games during his rookie campaign with Oklahoma City, averaging 2.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in just over 10 minutes per game.

He was part of the Thunder team that went on to win the 2025 NBA championship.

But establishing himself in the rotation proved difficult.

Another Championship in New York

Jones eventually landed with the on a two-way contract during the 2025-26 season.

His NBA opportunities remained limited, with Jones making seven appearances and averaging 1.3 points and 1.0 rebounds in 5.6 minutes per game.

His G League performances provided a much better indication of his development.

Jones produced 15.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game across 42 G League appearances last season.

His outside shooting also showed encouraging improvement after being one of the weaker areas of his game earlier in his professional career.

Jones then collected his second championship in as many NBA seasons as the Knicks won the 2026 title.

Philadelphia Offers Another Opportunity

Jones now heads to Philadelphia looking for something that has so far proved harder to secure than championship rings: a consistent NBA role.

An Exhibit 10 contract does not guarantee him a place on the Sixers' regular-season roster.

Instead, it gives Philadelphia the opportunity to evaluate Jones during training camp while retaining several potential pathways for the young wing.

He could compete for a roster position, potentially emerge as a two-way option or eventually continue his development with the Delaware Blue Coats in the G League.

Sixers Continue Building Training Camp Competition

Jones becomes the latest player Philadelphia has added through the Exhibit 10 route.

The Sixers have also signed Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson Jr. and Saint Thomas as they create competition ahead of training camp.

For Jones, the challenge is straightforward.

Despite being a first-round pick and already spending two seasons around championship teams, he has played only 61 regular-season NBA games.

Philadelphia now gives him another opportunity to prove he belongs in a larger role.

And after winning championships in each of his first two NBA seasons, perhaps the Sixers won't mind a little of that luck rubbing off either.
