Whitmore, the No. 20 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, enters his fourth NBA season having averaged 10.5 points and 3.3 rebounds across 119 career games.

The 22-year-old spent last season with Washington before being acquired by Cleveland in an offseason trade and subsequently waived by the Cavaliers. He has already joined the Nuggets for workouts in Denver.
